On Dec. 19, National Tourism Administration Assessment Expert Group went to Kaihua for on-site inspection and evaluation on China Root Art Expo Garden to be National 4A Level Scenic Spot. The Deputy Secretary of County Party Committee and County Chief Jin Miang and Vice County Chief Ma Jianxiong accompanied.

Since July 2008, China Root Art Expo Garden started to construct a National 4A Grade Tourism Scenic Spot, the construction and management of infrastructure, cultural connotation, tourism transportation and reception service facilities have been improved a lot which reach the requirements of National 4A Grade Tourism Scenic Spot construction. Therefore, the garden went though preliminary evaluation of Provincial assessment experts in late October, and published on December 16.

Assessment and acceptance expert group, according to construction standard and requirements of National 4A Grade Tourism Scenic Spot, conducted an overall inspection on tourist environment, transportation, health, safety, comprehensive management and tourist service. Then on the report meeting, the Assessment and Acceptance Expert Group listened to the work report on construction of Root Art Expo Garden for being National 4A Level Scenic Spot and viewed related special documentary.

Assessment and acceptance expert group spoke highly of working effects of Root Art Expo Garden for being National 4A Level Scenic Spot, and surly believed that Kaihua County Party Committee and Government attached too much importance to the construction of National 4A Level Scenic Spot. They consistently supported and guided the construction and management of the scenic spot. The construction of Root Art Expo Garden strictly followed the construction standard. Continuously increased investment and complete supporting tourism infrastructures and each aspect have reached the standard and requirements of National 4A Grade Tourism Scenic Spot. And the garden has become a high grade tourism attraction with cultural characteristics. Finally, the assessment and acceptance expert group approved the China Root Art Expo Garden to pass the evaluation and acceptance.

Besides, the assessment and acceptance expert group pointed out that as unique tourism resource, China Root Art Expo Garden has a strong influence with great development potential. They wished Kaihua County Party Committee and Government to make full use of the golden name card and conduct follow-up development and construction on a high starting point, high standard and high quality to create an international level cultural tourism spot. Besides, the government shall increase propaganda to the public to develop and expand root art cultural industry, to increase cultural connotation, to publish Kaihua root art cultural brand and to develop a connected effect in Kaihua and then to promote the development of Kaihua tourism industry.
