On September 18, there were more than 150 people including representatives attended the Zhejiang Provincial Forest Tourism Conference in Quzhou city, and invited guests from four different provinces and nine cities came to China Root Art Expo Garden which is honored as “World Cultural Heritage” for an inspection, after the 7th China East China Tourism Mart and 2012 Zhejiang Provincial Forest Tourism Opening Ceremony.

During the on-site inspection, the participants under the leading of tourism guidance, listening, viewing and noting acquired a detailed understanding of Kaihua forest tourism industry, development situation of root carving arts and development of China Root Art Expo Garden. The visitors highly praised Kaihua’s better ecological environment and spoke highly of exquisite garden layout, five hundred Buddhists with distinguished expressions, spectacular hamadryad with one thousand years and other works. When they were informed that Kaihua County Committee and Government intend to turn China Root Art Expo Garden into a National 5A Tourism Scenic Spot within 2 or 3 years, the visitors raised their thumbs up.

At the end of the visit, the participants expressed their sincere wish to Kaihua to take full use of ecological environment advantages, source brand advantages and distribution advantage, and to constantly increase the propaganda and cultivation, and to better integrate forest tourism and root carving culture.
