The deputy director general of Zhejiang Provincial Tourist Administration, Zhu Hongwei led the Provincial Preliminary Assessment Expert Group to conduct an investigation and evaluation on Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden for being National 5A Level Scenic Spot on Oct. 11 to Oct. 12. Meanwhile, director of Quzhou Tourist Administration Zhou Suhua, Secretary of County Committee Fang Jianzhong, Vice Secretary of County Committee and County Chief Xie Jianfeng, the Deputy County Chief Li Huarong accompanied respectively.

On Oct. 11, the Provincial Preliminary Assessment Expert Group carried out a careful and serious investigation and evaluation on scenic spot infrastructure construction, window service image, internal management of the spot, urban comprehensive environment, etc., and listened to the overall evaluation and construction suggestion from tourists on site by the way of on-site inspection, material review and questionnaire survey.

After hearing related comments and reports on the Provincial Preliminary Assessment Feedback Conference of Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden for being National 5A Level Scenic Spot on Oct. 12, Zhu Weihong put forward that the party committees and governments of Quzhou City and Kaihua County have attached too much importance to it, positively coordinated related departments and carefully referred to the Grade and Evaluation Standard of Tourism Scenic Spot, investing, reforming and improving a lot on the attraction which has made an obvious achievement. And their improvement clearly approved their new features of the spot, like strong guarantee from government, extraordinary root culture, effective construction project and perfect service standard. Therefore, Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden more or less reached the construction standards and requirements of National 5A Level Scenic Spot.

For the next construction work, Zhu Weihong stated briefly that to turn Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden into a National 5A Level Scenic Spot is required by demonstrating root carving culture, creating world brand, adapting development trend of tourism economy, and constructing tourist province. She demanded that the party committee and government of Kaihua County shall set up a huge goal, speed up development, perfect supporting facilities improve service, start big brand, create an international tourism destination, enrich attraction production industries, promote comprehensive regulation on environment, strengthen delicacy management on site, and improve its popularity and reputation to make the Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden more competitive and influential. In addition, Xie Jianfeng and Li Huarong respectively delivered a speech on the meeting. The participants involved also viewed special documentary of National 5A Scenic Spot construction and listened to the technical comments on Kaihua Root Art Expo Garden for being National 5A Level Scenic Spot from experts.
