On Sep. 29, more than 20 presidents from International Confucius Institution from nine countries came to Kaihua City for visiting and investigating on China Root Art Expo Garden. The Deputy County Chief Li Huarong accompanied.

During the inspection process, the foreign visitors were highly interested in every aspect of China Root Art Expo Garden. They were so excited under the leading of tourist guider, touring, talking and taking photos. “I think it is an extraordinary expo garden, and I never been to such an amazing place” the professor Norda Peterson from Norway Bergen Confucius Institute told the reporter. He said that he was deeply touched by the trip. Even Norway has many forests, no one ever tried to make sculptures with them. Besides, he was also attracted by the religious atmosphere here which is totally different from his hometown. He surly would take another trip here.

The visitors acquired a better understanding of each statue from the Root Art Buddha Museum and of Master Xu Guqing’s creating experiences with deepening the visit. President Jin Yuanming, from Korean Datian Foreign Language High School told the reporter “I feel very comfortable and warm during the root art tour since I am familiar with Buddhist culture”. He has been to China for many times, but it is his first time to Quzhou. He was deeply impressed by Chinese culture after the trip, and he would introduce more friends to China for experiencing and visiting the ecological environment as well as Chinese culture.

The foreign visitors highly appreciated of good ecological environment in Kaihua and spoke highly of exquisite garden layout, five hundred Buddhists with distinguished expressions, spectacular hamadryad with one thousand years and other works. They expressed their hopes for another trip in Kaihua next time.
